Delivering Community-Focused Change

The Founding Partners have spent the past three years exploring the BIG IDEA of the Heartland Community Commons.

The Founding Partners saw the project through several significant milestones, including:

• Development of the Heartland Community Commons Strategic Plan 2023-2025
• Development of a logo and branding identity for the HCC
• Creation of this website, which will grow into the Virtual Commons
• Creation of a Business and Sustainability Plan  to guide the next steps of the HCC’s development 
• Collaborating with Bridge Church to further understand the opportunity and synergy of a shared facility that would provide both space for the congregation and accessible and affordable spaces for community services.
• Working with Bridge Church to engage an architect to complete a Scope Study and Test Fit on the prospective facility in the Square One building. Bridge Church is exploring the possibility of purchasing the building and providing space to the HCC.
• Conducted extensive engagement with external and internal stakeholder and shared What We Heard with the community.
